About:

Windows 8 Ecologic is a clean & simple interface for any kind of user. It's based on Windows 7 & Vista interface but with some minimalistic touches. This edition (Ecologic) is an idea about a fictional organization, of course it doesn't exist but I think Micro$oft should care about our global problems.

It's a billionaire company which sells a lot of products and sometimes I guess these products could be improved. I mean, too much energy, too much rare material, too much plastic and heavy metals. This neglect afflict all of us.

A new version of Windows more fast (faster than W7!) could be done using this target. I tought the green shade could be a nice idea for this purpose.

The login screen it's a Voice Recognizer that (optionally) replaces the "typed password" method. It's totally viable because - almost - everyone has a headphone with microphone but a touchscreen monitor for digital recognition is for our near future. Not now because it's REALLY expensive for 80% of the Windows Users.

Logo: I made this logo to show what's the edition purpose. Green and natural, as the whole system should be.

Windows Media Player 12: Volume, song status, time and buttons (shuffle, repeat etc) only with mouse-over condition.

Explorer: The Explorer.exe with Internet Explorer integrated. My personal dream, if you want to back to windows hit the "arrow" button and change it to Explorer. You wanna type some site adress? Change it again to Internet. Maybe "Universal Explorer" for both together?

Icons for Desktop: Retractable dock ftw, if you are a classic method fan you may change it to desktop icons with no dock. Official skin changer would be great too.

Multifunctional Taskbar: For any kind of app, mouse-over it and you'll see what's going on. A lot of icons make it confuse for everyone.
